Female Bodybuilders
Are you a female bodybuilder or are you into female
fitness?
It takes dedication and a willingness to go the distance to
reach your goals in female bodybuilding and female fitness.
If you plan to compete in women’s bodybuilding or women’s
fitness you need to get your head on straight and be ready to
overcome the struggles of a female bodybuilder’s diet and
training plan. These days there is not a whole lot of
difference between bodybuilding women or fitness women.
If you are going into a natural female bodybuilding contest
you also need to know that you will be tested for drugs. You
also will be put into different classes like the short class
and tall class. There are classes for bodybuilding women over
30, bodybuilding for women over 40 and even bodybuilding for
women over 50. If you are going to compete in women’s fitness
you have different classes also.
Different female bodybuilding and female fitness
competitions have different judging criteria. Find out as much
as you can as to what criteria the judges will be using for
scoring before the female bodybuilding or female fitness
competition.
Now, if you are into just working out with free weights or
machines or both and you just want to look good and feel
better, you don't have to kill yourself with the diets that
female bodybuilders or female fitness competitors do. But you
do have to stick with the program that you choose.
Remember one thing about training and dieting. First and
foremost is to eat right - not less. You should eat at least 5
times a day. Eat good food not bad.
Your goal should be to drink a gallon of water a day. Start
out with just an extra glass a day and work your way up to 1/2
gallon of water. Then work your way up to a gallon if you are
training and dieting hard. Make sure while you are training
that you are drinking water. Water is so important when you are
training, yet I see a lot of people that do not drink water at
all.
One note of caution. I almost do not want to say it because
most bodybuilder and fitness women do not drink enough water.
But I have to say that there is such a thing as too much water
also. Although it is rare, do keep an “eye” on your body. Do
not over do it.
Second you need your rest. For some reason people think that
they can train hard and not get their proper rest. Wrong. Your
body needs its rest to heal and recharge itself. Try to get at
least 8 hours of rest a day. Also, every eight weeks take a
week off from the gym. If you let your body rest and recharge
itself, you will feel so much better.
Training is a small part in the whole picture. Some people
live at the gym and can not figure out why they are not getting
anywhere. Usually it is just a lack of knowledge, If you are
spending more than 1 hour a day in the gym, you are spending
too much time. It is not the time you spend in the gym, it is
knowing how to train effectively. You can train your complete
upper body in one hour or less, if you know how. The same is
true for training your lower body.
Wishing you all the best in your female bodybuilding and
female fitness training.
